Acceptable Use Policy

The ground rules for using NAVIZIX — including the Referral & Points programme — fairly, safely, and legally.

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ('AUP') sits alongside the Terms of Service and tells you, in plain English, what you can and cannot do on NAVIZIX. Breaches can lead to warnings, point forfeiture, suspension or permanent termination of your account, at NAVIZIX's sole discretion.

2. General conduct

You must not:

  • Use the Services for any unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory or infringing purpose.
  • Upload malware, run vulnerability scans without prior written consent, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or build a competing product from NAVIZIX outputs.
  • Misrepresent your identity, business, or trust marks (Blue Tick / Gold Tick).
  • Resell, rent, or sublicense access without an explicit written agreement.

3. Referral & Points programme — rules

The Referral & Points programme rewards genuine word-of-mouth growth. It is NOT a paid affiliate scheme and points have no cash value (see Terms §17).

You must not:

  • Self-refer: creating a second account (yours, a family member's, or a colleague's) to claim your own referral reward.
  • Use disposable, temporary or programmatically-generated email addresses to inflate referrals.
  • Run bot networks, automation scripts, or click farms to generate signups.
  • Sell, trade, transfer or buy points, referral codes, redemption codes, or future tokens on secondary markets.
  • Pay third parties to sign up under your code without a real intention to use NAVIZIX.
  • Misrepresent NAVIZIX in ads, paid placements, or social posts (no fake screenshots, no fake testimonials, no impersonation).
  • Bid on NAVIZIX trademarks in search ads or buy domains that mimic ours.
  • Spam: send unsolicited bulk email, DMs, or SMS containing your referral link.

We continuously monitor for anomalous patterns. If we believe in good faith that you have breached these rules, we may freeze points, void redemptions, revoke campaign multipliers, and suspend the account — without refund.

4. Communications and outreach

When sharing your referral link, you must comply with all applicable laws (UK PECR, GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL, etc.). Always identify yourself clearly, include an opt-out, and never pretend the message is from NAVIZIX.

We may withdraw your referral code if your outreach generates spam complaints, abuse reports, or bounces above the platform threshold.

5. Content & data uploaded to NAVIZIX

You confirm that you have the right to upload any data (CRM contacts, finance summaries, reviews, customer information) and that doing so does not breach a third party's privacy rights or contractual obligations. We process Customer Data per the Privacy Policy.

6. Trust marks & verification

Trust marks (Blue Tick, Gold Tick) are issued based on the evidence you submit. False, misleading or incomplete evidence will result in immediate revocation, may be reported to relevant regulators, and forfeits any associated points.

7. Enforcement

We use a tiered response: warning → temporary suspension → permanent termination, depending on severity and history. Serious breaches (fraud, illegality, security attacks) skip warnings.

Appeals: email info@navizix.com within 14 days of any enforcement action. We will review and respond within 10 business days.

8. Reporting abuse

If you spot misuse — fake accounts, paid-spam outreach, point-trading marketplaces, misuse of trust marks — please report it to info@navizix.com. Good-faith reports are confidential.

9. Websites hosted by NAVIZIX

If you build or host a website with NAVIZIX, your business is its publisher and is responsible for everything on it, including text written with AI that you approved. A website hosted by NAVIZIX must not contain, link to or promote:

  • anything illegal in the UK, or illegal where the website is aimed, including child sexual abuse material, terrorist content, threats, harassment and content that encourages self-harm or suicide;
  • content that infringes someone else's copyright, trade mark, design or other rights, or their privacy or reputation (including defamation);
  • fraud, scams, phishing, fake shops, pages that imitate another business, bank, public body or NAVIZIX, or pages that ask visitors for passwords, card or bank details;
  • malware, cryptomining, deceptive downloads or links to them;
  • sexually explicit or pornographic content, sexual services or adult dating;
  • hate: content that attacks or demeans people for their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or age;
  • weapons, explosives, illegal or controlled drugs, psychoactive substances, prescription-only medicines, or tobacco and vaping products sold without the required age checks and licences;
  • gambling, lotteries, betting or prize draws without the licence the law requires;
  • financial promotions (for example investments, loans, credit, crypto-assets or insurance) unless your business is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority or the promotion has been approved by an authorised firm, and the promotion meets the rules;
  • health claims, cures or regulated professional services you are not qualified or registered to offer;
  • false or misleading information about your business, prices, reviews, endorsements or qualifications;
  • anything that lets visitors post content publicly. Websites hosted by NAVIZIX have no comments, reviews, forums or public uploads, and you must not add a way around this.

Contact forms are for enquiries only: do not ask visitors for card numbers, bank details, passwords, health information or other sensitive data. NAVIZIX removes card numbers it detects in form messages.

A domain you connect must be yours or one you are allowed to use, and must not imitate another organisation.

10. Reporting a website (notice and takedown)

Anyone can report a website hosted by NAVIZIX. Every such website has a "Report this site" link in its footer that brings you here.

Email info@navizix.com with the subject "Report a website" and include: the web address (and the page) you are reporting; what the problem is and why you think it is illegal or breaks this policy; if it is about your own rights (for example your copyright, trade mark or personal data), who you are and how the rights are yours; and how we can contact you. You can report anonymously, but we may not be able to act on a report we cannot check.

What we do:

  • We acknowledge reports within 2 business days.
  • Content that appears to be child sexual abuse material, terrorist content, a credible threat to life, fraud or phishing: we aim to take the page or website offline within 24 hours of a credible report and, where the law requires, report it to the police or the right authority.
  • Other reports: we review them within 5 business days and may remove content, suspend the website or ask the website's owner to fix it.
  • Unless the law or the risk of harm means we should not, we tell the website's owner what was reported and what we did, and they can respond.
  • Both the person who reported and the website's owner can ask us to look again by emailing info@navizix.com within 14 days of our decision. We answer within 10 business days.

NAVIZIX hosts these websites; it does not write them or check them before they go live. Reports help us act quickly. Do not use reports to harass a business or to make claims you know are false.

If you are in immediate danger, call 999. You can also report fraud to the police through the UK's national fraud reporting service, and child sexual abuse material to the Internet Watch Foundation (report.iwf.org.uk).

11. Changes

We may update this AUP. Material changes will be notified 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
